In depth

Verdict

Society Red has been a grand servant and popped up again here last month when making all. Fishable goes well here but David Allan prefers the hat-trick seeking Myristica, another course and distance winner. Menai Bridge has won on Turf but has raced mainly on the all-weather so far this year. MATCHLESS has raced over 1m4f the last twice but won over this trip twice at Doncaster in the spring. There should be a decent gallop in this and that might help Ivan Furtado’s charge who is preferred to the three-year-olds Claim The Crown and Spirit Catcher. The latter is not guaranteed to stay this far on pedigree.
