        Verdict

        The three-year-old Starproof appeals most of the three recent winners, ahead of Oso Rapido and Strong Johnson but HAVANA PURSUIT met interference when behind the latter at Redcar on his handicap debut. The Easterby gelding had shown good speed when making all over 5f here earlier and is probably worth another chance. Hurstwood was a course and distance winner in June and Asadjumeirah was just beaten off this mark in a competitive sprint at York in July. Fortamour is a course specialist and Golden Duke is another to consider.
