        In depth

        Verdict

        Clock On Tom hasn't run a bad race all year and, though high enough in the weights now, should give another good account in a tricky finale. District Attorney ran his best race so far at Beverley last month but Triple Eight was beaten in a claimer last time and Bunce tries a new trip. ICY BLUE isn't exactly reliable but is 9lb lower than when an unlucky third in this race 12 months ago and could gain compensation with Noel Garbutt taking off a further 7lb. Border Bandit is receiving weight all round and has been in better form lately so could also get involved.
