      Verdict

      The last three favourites have won this, one of them trained by Mark Johnston, who has Equity Card here. His only victory came in a Polytrack maiden in October but his pedigree suggests he will be suited by stepping up to this trip for the first time. Bayan will have no problems with the distance having been narrowly beaten at Haydock but he's yet to race on soft ground and looked one-paced at Newmarket last time. ARLEY HALL takes some rousing along and needs a strong gallop which he may get here as Scarlet Whispers made all under a strong ride from Micky Fenton at Windsor. She may set the race up for Richard Fahey's filly, who battled on over Chester's tight track last time. Maybeagrey hasn't shown much on Turf despite two victories on Polytrack.
