        Verdict

This is a race for favourites as six of the previous ten winners have been market leader and no winner has been returned bigger than 3/1. CATHEDRAL should have few problems continuing that trend. Brian Meehan's charge ran a race full of promise on his reappearance at Newbury and may not have been suited by racing prominently at Sandown last time where he faded over that 1m2f trip. Sunnybridge Boy made a promising debut behind Pearl Charm at Doncaster but that was a year ago and the form has worked out very poorly so The Tiger, whose only run came on Polytrack in April of last year, may prove more of a threat. Centrifugal can probably improve though he'll need to do much better than he did on his debut at Hamilton.
