      Verdict

      Appointed and stable companion Mukhayyam were well beaten behind Mutamaded over track and trip last month and the winner has since run respectably over a trip too short at Wetherby. But he faces a very stiff task this evening giving weight to the unbeaten MORDIN, who had the proverbial ton in hand when stepping up to this trip and completing a hat-trick at Yarmouth – a 4lb rise in the weights is unlikely to halt his momentum. Sparte Quercus looks next best on his form last year but showed noting on his comeback. Kharbetation looked a nice prospect when winning by seven lengths on debut but has not reproduced that form since.
