A big field but more quantity than quality. Blackcurrent has improved since finishing fifth behind Newgate Angel at Catterick last month and won at Beverley three weeks ago. HOT SCOOP blew the start when behind Mokaman here 11 days ago and is better than that. Joanna Mason rides this course as well as most and better than some and could make a bee-line for the far rail from stall three. Elzaal has gone up 4lb for winning narrowly at Carlisle but could still go well while the returning Dylan's Lad could figure if fully wound-up.
