      Verdict

      ETON COLLEGE looked a progressive juvenile after notching successive wins at Brighton and then in a better race at Ascot and wasn't unfancied for a competitive Goodwood nursery. Everything that could go wrong that day did so and it's best to put a line through the run. Clearly all's well with the Invincible Spirit colt now he's taken to return to winning ways. Ventura Lightning is dangerous after making a successful Thirsk debut when outpointing Baltic State who had the benefit of experience. The Fahey colt should relish this additional furlong and is very much respected. Invincible Spirit is also responsible for the newcomer, Borsdane Wood, who is seen as next best.
