Verdict
Nothing in this competitive handicap jumps off the page but MY MATE MAL marginally has the most appealing profile in front of Rossini's Dancer and Cheery Cat. The selection is at least in good form having taken advantage of good terms to land a seller last time out and with him also holding a good strike rate over this trip he looks the percentage call. Rossini's Dancer would probably like a little more cut in the ground but is weighted to mount a challenge while Cheery Cat looks dangerously well handicapped on his best form, something he hasn't shown for a while though. Mr Fantozzi could be an interesting runner if in the mood and if Bryon Bay can build on a win last time out he could take advantage off bottom weight. A really difficult end to the day this where My Mate Mal is just preferred.
