Verdict
Tazawud gets the vote here ahead of New Jersey and Cee Bargara. The selection hails from the Mark Johnston yard and he was not given a hard race on his debut when he finished fifth behind Fred's Lad at Nottingham. He is sure to come on for the experience and unless one of the newcomers is out of the ordinary this colt should be up to getting his head in front. New Jersey is from the Kevin Ryan yard and as he has already been amongst the winners with his two-year-old's this season this colt has to be afforded respect. Cee Bargara showed promise on his debut at Folkestone when finishing in mid-division after leading early on and if he can break smartly then he could be difficult to peg back. John Quinn's Tara's Force is another who should be monitored in the market on his debut, but Tazawud showed enough on his debut to make him the one to beat today.
