Mark Johnston saddles five of the nine entries and jockey bookings hold no clues. Galesburg has won three races but all have been on soft ground and he didn't appear to improve at Redcar last time after his Beverley victory. Byres Road was receiving 3lb from today's rival DOLPHIN VISTA when beaten just under a length over the course and distance last month though that was on very testing ground and the winner has since run an excellent race at Newmarket when he had Tawakkol behind. He can return to winning ways though his stable companion Novinophobia, who was beaten a long way on his reappearance at Haydock, was impeded and eased so should do much better.
