Verdict

Michael Bell and Ed Dunlop are having seasons well below normal standards. Grand Meister and Loch Ma Naire are their respective representatives here and although both have decent claims, FULL DAY makes more appeal in receipt of weight from the pair. After claiming a narrow Beverley success, the filly stepped up significantly in grade to contest the Edinburgh Cup Handicap and belied her odds as the 40-1 complete outsider of the field with a career-best fourth of 13. That run suggests that she's on the upgrade and she can confirm that viewpoint off a fair mark of 71. MaiD In Rio is inconsistent but useful on her day whilst Mendelita is likely to improve now handicapping.
