Verdict

WINK OLIVER can make experience count in this modest event. Marjorie Fife elected to claim the colt cheaply out of Mick Channon's stable, and having gone close in a nursery at Ayr, he should have too much class for today's rivals. Tagtale is likely to be popular given that she hails from the Richard Fahey yard. She has been unable to follow up her success in a Redcar seller, and was very disappointing at Yarmouth earlier this month. Astrea is tried in a first time visor and will attempt to confirm Beverley form with Autumn Revue. Shamrock Sheila made an unsuccessful foray to France but she'd shaped well in a similar event at Windsor and Stan Moore's filly will be competitive in receipt of her 5lb allowance.
