Verdict
Fire Two gets the confident vote here with Font and Fire Two and Peppertree Lane rating the main dangers. The selection was disappointing on his last run of last season but prior to that he had some fair place efforts notably when second to the highly regarded Nakheel. He is sure to have strengthened up through the winter and he need only run up to that mark to win this. Font showed a modicum of ability on his debut when fifth behind Rampallion and is sure to improve but no winners have come out of that race yet and for that reason he is opposed. Peppertree Lane is another that could go well on his latest third behind Opera Cape especially as this longer trip is sure to suit but his stable have yet to hit form and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder O'Tara was a fair second behind Collateral Damage last time and is another that is sure to improve so should be noted in the market but Fire Two sets a fair standard and he will be hard to beat.
