        Verdict

        Meshardal is struggling at present but Ruth Carr’s other two runners, Tadaany and Cupid's Arrow would have a chance from near the foot of the weights. At the other end of then handicap, Tabaahy and Mutabaahy, are also interesting but Ninjago had to drop into selling company at Thirsk to end a long losing run. SHORTBACKANDSIDES goes well here and was more like his old self when second at Haydock just under two weeks ago. Further rain would increase his chances and he looks the one to beat.
