In depth

Verdict

Skidrow has done little wrong this season and looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to open his account for the campaign with the main threats looking to come from Jubilee Street and Diamonds And Dust. The last mentioned only went down by a length behind Samuel Charles at Nottingham under the same mark as today over this trip last time and should be thereabouts again. Barathea Dreams ran better at Sandown last time and has claims on that evidence but this looks tougher, while Starnevees is hard to recommend on his British debut and may be best watched. Alchemist Master is strictly held by Diamonds And Dust on Nottingham running and a bigger threat may come from Haydock winner Jubilee Street although he may now be a shade high in the weights. The vote then goes to Skidrow who has been a model of consistency and gets the vote to gain a deserved success.
