In depth

Verdict

East Bank made a winning debut at Beverley but showed signs of temperament next time at Musselbugh. Swiftly is a newcomer to note as she is a half-sister to three winners but Professor Tickle probably didn’t beat much at Brighton and Catton Lady is also penalised for a shock victory at Carlisle, though she will almost certainly appreciate the extra furlong. BARG wasn’t given a hard time when third behind the odds-on Je Nais Sais Quoi at Thirsk and that experience should stand him in good stead today.
