        Verdict

        Canford Bay probably hasn’t been at his best recently but has slipped down the weights as a consequence and is a dual course and distance winner. Dapper Man won here in the spring and has scored since at Haydock and is still capable on his day but Harrogate might be a few pounds too high and Paul Midgley may have stronger claims with BUNIANN (NAP). The latter was just beaten off this mark at Doncaster two runs ago and handles all types of going unlike the other Midgley runner Thrilla In Manila, who needs fast ground. Qaaraat is best at Wolverhampton so Big Thanks and Wade's Magic look the pick of the remainder, though neither are prolific winners.
