    Verdict

BATRAAN was having only his second outing on Turf when scoring on fast ground at Nottingham. He can go close again off a 3lb higher mark and confirm running with Cuban Breeze, who led in the early stages and was beaten by Virginia Plane at Catterick at the end of last season. The latter returns to action raised 5lb while Stay Smart needs to find a bit more off his current mark and drops back down in distance.
