          Verdict

          Pipers Note made a winning return at Beverley with Algar Lad behind and is upped 5lb while Tatlisu also faces a tougher task after scoring at Doncaster with Arnold Lane well beaten. Searchlight is another upped in class after winning at Wolverhampton but FAST SHOT won the inaugural running of this last year, beating Barkston Ash with Clear Spring further behind. Tim Easterby's charge ran well on his recent return to action at Newcastle with Jamaican Bolt and Duke Of Cosimo beaten and should make another bold bid today. The selection's stablemates See The Sun and Confessional are not out of this either.
