Verdict
The draw has been kind to Undeterred and the David Barron-trained gelding is selected to confirm recent form with Armagnac who, in turn, holds the frustrating Steel Blue on a previous outing this season. Romany Nights and Johnston's Diamond are others that are likely to play leading roles and can do their bit to ensure there is no hanging around from the gates; with the last named just preferred of the two as he has the better acceleration at the end of his races. Whereas the selection's stablemate, Polar Kingdom, has never been the most reliable of characters and he will most probably find at least one too good again. Jockey bookings also suggests that Undeterred is marginally the preferred option form the Barron camp in this six-furlong heat and, as he has won off much higher marks in the past, the son of Zafonic can confirm that his best days are far from behind him yet.
