Verdict
The return to Ripon can help the consistent OFF CHANCE can gain some compensation for a string of near misses; Osteopathic Remedy and Billy Dane are closely matched and capable of giving the selection a hard time, while Inheritor is better than he showed on the all-weather when he was last seen out and, as he has gone well fresh in the past, he can be a potent threat now he returns from a break. In truth, not too many can confidently be ruled out and it would come as no surprise to see this turn into a tactical affair. However, Off Chance has been at his best when held-up off solid pace and, given that Duran Fentiman knows the gelding inside out, it's a likely the partnership will be have the race run to suit whoever makes the running.
