Verdict
REGAL LYRIC is a sporting suggestion ahead of Park's Prodigy and Patavium. The last named has been in good form under both codes of racing lately and deserves a change of fortune. However, he has been struggling off his current rating and others may have his measure. Park's Prodigy has a similar profile and, despite holding his form well, it's disconcerting that he will need to post a career best effort if he is going to prevail today. War Of The Roses is also worth a mention after posting a series of fair performances. However, the fact he has never won on turf has to limit any interest to an each-way play; assuming all eight take their chances, that is. Nevertheless, it can pay to take a chance on Regal Lyric, who is as tough as they come and, as he can be fancied to relish this ease in grade, the Tom Tate-trained gelding is a solid option today.
