Verdict

BIRKENHEAD ran out a very ready winner of an apprentice handicap at Catterick six days ago under the promising Ryan Sexton and the combination is hard to oppose here on that evidence. He 'd also been first past the post on his previous start before being disqualified. Mokaman disappointed on his latest start but enters calculations on his previous run when scoring at Musselburgh over this trip on good ground. However, Lost My Sock makes more appeal as he has been steadily coming to hand in three starts this term.
