Verdict

Stopnsearch needs forgiving a poor run at Chelmsford last time but has won three times on Turf. Glen Esk wouldn’t want any rain and is on a career-high mark after a narrow win at Haydock last month but still goes on the shortlist while the return to a longer trip will suit Newbury runner-up Grey Fox. WONDER STARELZAAM (NAP) had previous winner Eton Blue back in third when scoring over this trip at Windsor. The second has franked the form since and Denis Coakley’s gelding gets on really well with George Bass. Gary Moore’s pair The Whipmaster and Night Eagle may be the pick of the remainder.
