Prairie Spy won his first two starts as a juvenile on Turf but his best efforts this year have come on artificial surfaces. Flying Dragon has been beaten twice off this mark recently and has been found wanting previously when tried beyond a mile. Highwaygrey was a little disappointing at Haydock last time but it’s possible that the soft ground was to blame and he’d be thereabouts on earlier form. FRAGRANT DAWN ran no sort of race on Polytrack earlier this month but an earlier third behind Starczewski at Yarmouth was decent form and this looks a good opportunity for Charlie Hills’ filly.
