Verdict
This trip may be on the short side nowadays for Fayez but MIKMAK has thrived over a mile since finishing third over 1m2f here last month. Softer going would have been ideal but he handles quicker conditions and should be thereabouts again, despite a 5lb rise in the weights. Ibraz has gone up 3lb since finishing second over 7f at Newmarket and Helovaplan is also running well at present. Alfred Richardson is another with decent claims but Raselasad is proving hard to place and Rousayan was engaged yesterday at Beverley. Irreverent looks best of the rest as the normally-consistent Ulshaw Bridge turned in a shocker last time at Redcar.
