Abushamah finished closer at Beverley last time though that was in an amateurs' race but Salam Zayed has a shout having been beaten in higher grade contests than this since landing a double last month. MORNING DUEL ran below par at Thirsk last time but had found only one too good in novice company over course and distance before that.
