    Verdict

Sparkling Eyes gained a deserved success last time out and can follow up this afternoon, Winning Spirit and Reebal look to be the main dangers. Clive Brittain's charge has always been highly thought of and easily got the better of the 75 rated Dee Jay Wells at Sandown. She has more to do this afternoon but is on the upgrade and will be hard to beat. Winning Spirit was out-classed in the Molecomb at Goodwood last time but had looked a decent enough type when winning at Redcar. The seven pounds he has to give the selection may just prove too much but he should still be in the shake up. Reebal is from a yard in great form and has shown enough to warrant a big mention here. Avertuoso looks the best of the remainder, but Sparkling Eyes looks the most progressive in the line up and she gets our vote.
