    Verdict

Abbotside has gone close in handicaps the last twice and has strong claims back at this level but SPIRIT DANCER is rated only 2lb lower and has far more scope. He’ll be sharper for a recent comeback second at Wolverhampton and Richard Fahey sent out last year’s winner. It was soft going when Kaleidoscopic finished fourth at Newbury and she’s another to consider but Poetica was beaten along way when placed at Ayr.
