Free Ranger made his debut on the Flat in April of last year and was unplaced but later finished runner-up three-times before transferring to Noel Meade. He again finished second in two runs in the spring over hurdles and he's become very expensive to follow, though should make a bold bid to finally get off the mark. GALTYMORE has had plenty of chances but it could be his turn today as his second at Wexford early last month was a very good effort and he performed with credit in a very strong Listowel handicap three days later. Just A Boy has been well beaten in both starts over timber after a promising bumper debut but Joe The Crow is expected to make progress this season and his yard remains in top form.
