Verdict
Cadmium, who beat the smart Le Martalin over the track and trip in June, disappointed when tackling 2m2f in this grade at Galway. He looked to be travelling best of all at this trip but just didn't get home on the soft ground. ORNUA, who was only caught in the closing stages by Rashaan that day, will also appreciate the shorter trip and better ground and can go one better though his stable also run the very progressive Arcenfete, unbeaten in two runs over fences and deserving of a chance in this company along with Classic Theatre, who looks held by the latter on Wexford running. St Stephens Green has run a superb race on the Flat in a premier handicap at Leopardstown since making a winning start over fences at Galway and he looks a smart recruit as does Monarch, who was always travelling smoothly when making a successful chasing debut at Killarney.
