Verdict

LIGHTENING PEARL found only subsequent Group 3 winner Experience too good at Navan on her debut. She finished clear of the remainder and looks the one to be on here with Johnny Murtagh taking over the reins. Catamount also made a promising debut on soft ground at Naas, while Prophesy has been placed at Limerick the last twice, though better is expected from stablemate Among Equals as he was sent off an odds-on favourite when disappointing at Cork in May. Gowran third Lonrach could prove best of the remainder.
