Verdict

Lord Erskine has been here twice and won both over 1m4f. He could find this on the short side unlike KODIAC PRINCE, who completed a double in convincing fashion at the Curragh on Friday and can defy a 7lb penalty. Charles Byrne will find a race for Spy, a dual winner for the Johnston's in the UK, before long while Soaring Monarch won on his only visit here and also scored on his reappearance at last year's Galway Festival so the lack of a run won't be a problem. Sir Antonino also won at last year's Festival and has edged down to a winnable mark.
