In depth

Verdict

Star Of Cashel was well supported at Naas on Saturday and the confidence wasn't misplaced as he gained a comfortable success, though a 6lb penalty makes this more difficult. Eglish completed a hat-trick of all-weather victories earlier this year and may just have needed her comeback at Limerick where she led for a long way. Kosman, who was a couple of lengths behind the latter at Dundalk in January, has the better of the weights here and looked even better on Turf when scoring at Naas when Mogwli was around four lengths behind, though the latter is weighted to get much closer. TALKING TOUGH dropped back to an extended 5f to score at Sligo last week but had been placed over a mile previously. Today's trip suits and, with Ben Coen in the saddle again, he can complete a quick double.
