In depth

Verdict

CARRAREA was well supported to make a successful bumper debut against older horses at the Punchestown Festival and duly obliged, winning with a bit in hand. He has a penalty to carry against his own age group but should be up to defying the extra. Willie The Coo started favourite that day but pulled too hard and was beaten 10 lengths. Whispering Pines attracted support at Wexford and stayed on well once getting the hang of the job while Our Man Flint just failed to quicken at the business end at Killarney.
