In depth

Verdict

Darkest is one of the most exposed having failed to build on an earlier third at Fairyhouse though she’s weighted to get the better of Breaking News. But a couple of these have more scope including Teed Up, a runner-up in both starts so far and a beaten favourite at Galway last time. BIG WHITE CHIEF makes more appeal having found only Call Me Rocky, rated 80, too good at Limerick on his debut - Jessica Harrington’s colt is taken to go one better. The remainder are harder to fancy though testing ground may have been a legitimate excuse for Herons Nest’s poor effort at Gowran.
