Verdict

Custom Cut didn't appear to enjoy the testing ground at Listowel so today's conditions probably won't suit and he has over 5l to make up on FOOT SOLDIER. The latter's earlier fourth place behind subsequent Group 2 winner Daddy Long Legs is the best form on view and he can gain his first success. Ger Lyons had his first Group 1 winner with Lightening Pearl on Saturday and will be hoping Kashmir Peak can keep up the good work and he appeared to find a mile just too far at Bellewstown last time. Lord Jim showed much improved form at Listowel and will love the conditions as will Balrath Hope, who was only caught in the closing stages at Fairyhouse. Beau Amadeus is another to consider in a tougher-than-usual maiden.
