In depth

Verdict

The penny dropped with ALICE'S DANCER at Leicester last time and she ran out an easy winner. Bill Muir's filly had gone close on soft ground at Goodwood earlier and she looks the one to beat in today's conditions. Kimbali has won at claimer over C&D and drops in class after a couple of outings in better grade handicaps, while Sardanapalus landed his maiden over track and trip before finding the competition too hot in the Gimcrack at York last time and has yet to encounter a soft surface. The remainder look to have plenty to find.
