In depth
Verdict
Jim Goldie appears to have found BOTHAM a good chance to follow-up last week's victory over C&D. That was his sixth win at this track and, given he acts on soft ground and is dropped in class today, he should go in again despite carrying a penalty. Mighty Whitey finished over six lengths behind the selection last time, but Croix Rouge has claims on July's second over 1m2f at Sandown on a slow surface. Nicholas Pocock has place claims at best and Strong Man has plenty to prove stepping up in trip for his handicap debut.
