Cable looked one to follow when runner-up at Galway but didn't show the expected improvement when a well-beaten second at Ballinrobe and will need to do better as DOS PICAS ran well at Killarney. Noel Meade's charge has more of a Flat pedigree than most of these and showed there was a race to be won with him with a fine effort behind Pateen. Chapelier attracted some support on his debut here earlier this month and wasn't beaten far while Theatre Dreams hails from a strong jumping family and is one to note for the future.
