Verdict

Gordon Elliott saddles smart hurdler FLAWLESS ESCAPE, who jumped poorly when favourite for his chasing debut at Fairyhouse in December, and Swordsman, also decent over timber and making his chasing bow. In the hope that the former has had his problems ironed out, he gets the vote. Noel Meade also saddles a pair with Cenotice possibly having the edge over the returning Cherokee Bill at this stage though the former has become disappointing after a bright start. Mount Hanover should come out on top of Henry De Bromhead's duo with Rachael Blackmore on board and he'll have come on for his recent chasing debut at Listowel. Never Off Duty looked a smart prospect when last seen scoring over hurdles on heavy ground at Naas though that was in early 2017. Askann only just failed to get past Ozzie's Way in a similar race at Naas and her allowance should again make her competitive again.
