Verdict
Dual all-weather winner Resplendent Glory lost no caste in defeat behind Nota Bene on his turf debut in a Newmarket handicap at the Craven meeting and has to be respected off the same mark but preference is for One Putra, with Leo's Lucky Star possibly the best of the remainder. The selection needed the run first time out as a juvenile and the likelihood is that the son of Indian Ridge will improve considerably for his reappearance at Leicester when a creditable third behind the useful Turnkey. The soft ground will suit the son of the Michael Jarvis-trained colt who looks a better bet than Foreign Edition, who represents the in-form yard of John Gosden but needs to step up on his latest effort at headquarters to trouble the judge. Leo's Lucky Star looked promising when winning his first two starts as a juvenile and has mainly disappointed since then but showed signs of a revival at Doncaster last time and cannot be discounted lightly. Ingleton is probably better than he showed on his reappearance but One Putra has an obvious chance and gets the vote.
