Verdict

Sir Roderic is on a roll but step up a grade for this off a 4lb higher mark. It took Carry Me Home five attempts to get off the mark and he has his first run on Turf this afternoon. MAINSTREAM wears a hood and may not be entirely straightforward but he won his maiden at Nottingham in October in the style of a useful performer and doesn't look overburdened here on his handicap debut. Like the selection, Jufn has only had a couple of runs and is open to further improvement. He holds Zoffanys Pride on Newmarket running and makes more appeal than the returning Loading.
