In depth

Verdict

Monarch Maid is 6lb higher than when successful over track and trip in June but bounced back to form last time at Chepstow. Windsor runner-up Poole Belle is unexposed and should be winning soon but another three-year-old, QUICK MARCH, is preferred on this occasion. Roger Charlton's filly won at Windsor a little under a year ago and has been steadily working her way back to full fitness this summer. Picket Line has yet to place in five attempts on Turf while Boy In The Bar and Brazen Spirit remains out of sorts. Tagula Night is well treated nowadays but isn't getting any younger.
