    Verdict

Forty Thirty makes his debut at a fair level so must have been showing something at home, however SUCH OPTIMISM showed an awful lot when winning at the track last month and can win this. Favourites have a good record in this race and Ralph Beckett has a good record at the track. This daughter of Sakhee was not well-fancied on debut but despite running green, she was an impressive winner of that seven-furlong maiden and coming from a good family who have improved with age, she looks worth a bet. Versaki has ability but he has to give weight to all of his rivals and he needs to improve while Cityscape and Akhenaten both made promising debuts and each rates as a threat with nominal improvement. Sumani has plenty to find judging from his debut run and so we will return to Such Optimism as the selection.
