Verdict
With five horses already rated in the 70's this looks a decent contest, and one where it may pay to side with SHANGANI who is narrowly preferred to Burma Rock. Henry Candy's once-raced filly was put away after a promising second on her debut at Lingfield behind Deposer last season. Only beaten three lengths behind Deposer, who has since gone on to be placed in Group company, this well-related daughter of Ishiguru is fancied to run well if fully tuned up. Sunny Future was last seen in a valuable sales race at Doncaster but that was tilting at windmills a bit and this looks more suitable, whilst Poyle Meg has some good form from 2008, including a close seventh to Penny's Gift at Ascot. Kloof, Casting Couch and Burma Rock have all shown enough to suggest that they will win their maidens soon, with the last-named bred to make up into a better three-year-old. Another tricky puzzle to solve and we will take a chance on Shangani.
