Verdict
Teazel didn't show much on debut and the ground isn't certain to suit but this sister to Treat may come on for that first outing. Tanassuq is a half-sister to winners over longer trips and that stamina may be useful in what is likely to be more testing than the bare distance suggests. The dam of Striking Veil was a juvenile winner over six furlongs and has to be considered for a top-class trainer. Border Abby is by Selkirk and may well act on the softer ground so is worth a market check. Mrs Dee Bee may progress in time but is a half-sister to useful juvenile winner Qalahari and the trainer has a reasonable record here with his youngsters. Follow My Dream looks more one to follow next term but could be anything for John Gosden but the vote goes to DESERT SHINE who ran well enough on soft ground at Warwick on debut to finish second and she is taken to build upon that run and go one position better.
