    Verdict

Amerthyst was picked up for a mere 1,500 guineas but her dam was a juvenile winner and the bloodlines suggest cut in the ground will suit. She is worth considering for the frame places at a bigger price. Royal connections will hope Carousel turns out to be smart in time and has to be regarded as a player on debut. Celani dwelt at the start at Kempton on her first start and she could come on for the run. John Gosden has a cracking record with his juveniles and Flood Plain is strongly considered on her first outing. SUPER gets the vote for the Richard Hannon yard after a promising debut. She showed elements of greenness and inexperience and if she is progressive then an improved run should be enough to take this.
