          Verdict

          A wide open handicap here with many in with chances on their best form but the principals look to be Kryssa, Dr Synn, Instinct, Melaina, and Place Cowboy and the vote goes to Kryssa. The selection was a fair third behind Ivory Lace last time and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Dr Synn rates the main danger he was a fair sixth behind Inchloss last time and this faster ground is sure to suit. Instinct is another that could go well but his best form of late is over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Melaina has won her last two races in good style but she may struggle under her penalty having only defeated Princess Galdriel by a short head last time, but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winners we return to Kryssa.
